London & Edinburgh: Dinner for school groups?

I have taken students to London several times and am always looking for a cost effective way to feed my high school students. Have been to several restaurants (The Centre Page, Doggett's Coat and Badge, The Wildwood) where they offered a set price per student (~10-12 pounds) for a single choice from a simplified menu (fish & chips, bangers & mash, etc.) and a soft drink. I sent food orders & paid in advance and so it was quite convenient.

Does anyone have any suggestions for:

Other fairly inexpensive restaurants in London that might accommodate us in a similar way?

Restaurants in central Edinburgh that would offer something similar? We will be there for three nights.

Our group size is 30 people in total, and all students are age 17-18.

Thanks for any recommendations!

Hi, if it helps at all, when I took the Rick Steves London tour, the places where we had group meals with nearly 30 people were:
The Counting House pub (Cornhill / upstairs room)
Zizzi's (Crawford Street Marylebone but appears to be Paddington Street Marylebone location on their website?)
Hardy's (Dorset Street Marylebone)
I would imagine Hardy's is the priciest of the three I mention.

If you are going in summer a picnic lunch in a park or along the Thames can be a nice experience. Either buy some sandwiches in a supermarket or a Bento box from one of the many Bento places.

When I worked in London I often used the Bento place in Villiers Street next to Charing Cross Station.
