My wife and I spent two nights at the Abacourt House, May 4 & 5, 2026. The hosts, John and Heather Manners, were very friendly and helpful. John lent us several trail maps and gave us a good suggestion of where to hike to see the bluebell flowers, nearby the Buttermere Lake hike we were going to do. You order the breakfast the night before, and Heather has it ready for you the next morning. Everything was fresh and good to eat. The area was even more beautiful than I expected. I would recommend this B&B.
