Hotels near St Pancras International station London

We will be arriving at St Pancras train station in London via Eurostar. We are looking for a hotel that is a easy walk from the train station. We aren't worried about finding the cheapest, but do want a nice, safe clean place to stay for 1 night. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

There’s a Premier Inn right across the street.

I think there are 3 Premier Inns within 3 blocks. We stayed at the PI St Pancras for a week and it was fine.

We use Premier Inns for those occasional one night before-or-after flight situations. Very close to station.

If you stay at the PI across the street from the British Library see if you can book a room on the north side overlooking the spectacular British Library courtyard.

The Alhambra Hotel on Argyle Street, located across the street.

The Premier is nice, also the Megaro directly across the street. Very spacious rooms.

If you're really not looking for the cheapest then there is always the St Pancras hotel itself. Staying there overnight is beyond our budget, but we've been in the public rooms for lunch or a drink whilst waiting for a train and it's right brilliant.

One thing that might be disappointing about the Renaissance St Pancras is that the hotel rooms themselves are in a modern addition along the side of the station opposite the British Library - apart from the public rooms the old hotel building is now apartments.

Ditto to those who recommend the Premiere Inns in the neighborhood...………. the one across from the British Library was very nice and the British Library is also a nice attraction to visit.

Added plus to that hotel, there's a Pret a Manger at the end of the block for a quick breakfast or lunch, and a pub (and I think a pizza place?) on the same block as well.

Another vote for The Alhambra Hotel. Right down the street is McGlynn's Free House; excellent pub with good food. A lot of locals go there.

We stayed at the Primer Inn St Pancras. For one night it was fine and room was clean. Just a few minutes walk from the station.

We stayed in Hotel California -- kind of quirky, interesting hotel. Looked like a series of row houses have been tied together to create a hotel. If steps bother you this is not the place for you. Everywhere we went it was up two steps, down three steps, etc. But rooms were very nice, price was good, staff was great with a decent, little bar in the hotel. Just a block south of the station. It was a fun place. Would go back tomorrow.
