My daughter and I are visiting London in July '16. I would like to stay in the Chelsea neighborhood. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced hotel?

Well, it depends on what you consider "reasonably priced." On the Best of London tour this past February, the tour group stayed at myHotel Chelsea. When we checked the room rates for extending our stay beyond the tour dates, we were quoted prices of £160 per night for a standard double. Another quote was for £240 per night, but that was for Valentine's weekend. Both those prices were beyond our budget, so we found another hotel in Bayswater that was about 1/2 the price.
But some of the group considered the rate at myHotel Chelsea reasonable. It is nice, but not outstanding. The rooms are small (which is going to be true wherever you stay,) and well kept. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is about a 7 or 8 minute walk from the nearest Tube stop (South Kensington.) If that's in your budget, check them out. I'm sure you'll get more suggestions, as well.
