Hotel near Heathrow with transportation to airport

For an unusual airport transportation option, Heathrow Thistle Hotel and take the pods to the terminal.

We stayed at Sofitel Heathrow a few years ago. A bit pricey, but direct walking access to terminal 5. Really convenient if terminal 5 access is what you need.

Which terminal? There are hotels attached to some terminals that will make it easier.

We stayed in Eurotel at Terminal 3 Heathrow. More than adequete. Nice design & finishes, well staffed front desk & a "board room" on our floor. The one downside.....no restaurants on the public side of the terminal (or maybe we did not find them). We did a picnic in the arrivals hall. Then for breakfast we went to the airline lounge early

There is a shuttle bus that circles the off site hotels with a coupe of loops. It's called Hoppa

There's a nice (and cheap) Premier Inn at terminal 4 that we've used several times. Can then either take the free train to one of the other terminals or, better, use one of the local mini cabs that the hotel will call for you. The money you save on accommodations will more than cover the cab fare, which for 2 of us with luggage was less than 15 pounds for the door to door service.

I've used the Premier Inn at Heathrow Terminal 4 two or three times. It is relatively new and a screaming bargain. Unfortunately, it closed early during the pandemic and I don't believe it has reopened yet. I don't think there are many (any??) flights into T4 at the moment.

We always stay at the Sofitel at Terminal 5. I was very ill while there and they were very helpful, getting doctors, changing our flights and discounting our room charges.

I, too, am a Sofitel fan at Terminal 5. They go above and beyond with their customer service.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Terminal 4 was excellent in November 2019. Convenient, reasonably priced, and clean.
