Hotel advice sorry

First time in London, looking at hotels in London for 3 nights in May and have it narrowed down to the Premire Inn Victoria and the Cherry Court Hotel, because of price and location. Just trying to get peoples thoughts if they've stayed at these hotels and if they would recommend one over they other. thanks for any input.

I don't know what your budget is, but judging from which you are considering, I get a good idea. I was searching rooms for the same category at the same time frame last year.

I had decided on Cherry Court until I heard about Number 63. It's on Bayswater Road across from Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens.

It was a bit small (but what isn't in the "economy range in London) yet comfortable and undercut my budget (I was aiming at 90 GBP per night and ended up spending 90 DOLLARS per night.

breakfast is included in the price and there's a discount for staying three nights or more if one of those is Sunday. The nearest tube station is about a 1/4 mile. It's also within walking distance of Paddington Station (both tube and train).

Take a look at it and compare with you're already narrowed your choices.

All this is based on one traveller (who likes to be relatively comfortable, while saving on lodging to spend those dollars, pounds and euros elsewhere) and I cannot comment on how much roomier a double room might be.

I've stayed at the Cherry Court Hotel, numerous times (10+) since 2000. It is a small, clean, safe hotel. I love Mrs Patel, the owner, although it looks like her dentist daughter is helping her out more. They live right next door with an adjoining door to the hotel desk. It feels more like a home away from home for us, when we go there. Small bathrooms, which were fine for us, but there is a very private and clean bathroom in the hallway if you need more privacy for some reason... It is very convenient to public transportation and a nice walk to Buck House or Parliament (we're walkers) so never took the tube there. Pimlico has some lovely restaurants, just a short walk away. The times I stayed there solo, I felt secure and safe walking in the urban residential neighborhood.

I've stayed at the Ridgemount Hotel in Gower St a few times which was pretty good, and comparable to the Cherry Court, with cooked breakfast included in the price ..they will also do a bag of washing (wash/dry/fold) for you for £4 .. it's pretty much opposite the British Museum, and just a hop skip and jump from Oxford St. The Tube (Goodge Street) is just around the corner on Tottenham Court Rd and there's a bus stop opposite ..
