Only a stroke of good luck brought us to this wonderful B & B. We were given a referral and, though the hosts had planned on taking a few days off, we managed to get the few nights needed to round out our visit to Dartmoor. So wonderful! The best bed of our entire trip, in a sunny, spacious room. Afternoon tea and delicious home baked goodies which tossed any notion of reserve out the window. We truly felt like special guests. We relaxed that evening in a charming bath with plenty of hot water, slept soundly and woke to birds serenading at early light. In the morning, we came downstairs to Bach French Suites playing in the kitchen and our host waiting on us with tea, toast, eggs, sausages, porridge and more. One of the special treats of this stay was that we were surrounded with beautiful antiques: furniture, tea service and more. Our hosts were charming, helpful regarding directions for our day's exploration, and very pleasant company. This is a stay we will remember fondly.
