Friendliest and best B&B from Fall 2024 visit to Penzance, Cornwall

Our stay at the Blue Seas Hotel in Penzance was a highlight of our September 2024 tour of southern England from Canterbury to Penzance via trains, buses, and taxis. Of our stays in five very enjoyable hotels and B&Bs, this was by far our favorite. Hosts Fiona and Arnaud made us feel welcome, provided any information we requested, and made the most phenomenal breakfasts. The pastries and hot breakfast items, cheeses, fruit, French press coffee, and tea, as well as chats with other guests, gave us an excellent start to adventure-filled days in the area. I dream of finding Miss Muffet and Cornish Yarg cheeses in the U.S. I can only imagine how early Arnaud must rise to prepare delicious baked goods. Our room and provided amenities were excellent. There is no doubt that our next visit to Penzance will have us staying at Blue Seas again. I recommend taking a taxi to the hotel upon arrival. The easiest walking route is along the sea around the point to and from the train and bus station.
