In London this past weekend (July 23-25, 2022) ate in two excellent Indian restaurants in Maiden Lane near Covent Garden: The Fatt Pundit and Cinnamon Bazaar. Lots of variety on menus, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options noted. Excellent service and very pleasant wait staff. Both were very busy; were able to snag a table at Fatt Pundit w/o reservation but made a same-day reservation online for Cinnamon. Chicken momos at Fatt were excellent, as was the Kolkata chili chicken and fried okra. Beautiful presentation of samosa chaat at Cinnamon, lovely butter chicken and delicious indulgence of carrot ginger toffee pudding.

Thanks for the recommendations. We’ll be in London next week and I was wondering if either of these restaurants have outdoor dining?

Cinnamon had a few tables outside but I only saw people having drinks. No outside seating at Fatt. It's been VERY hot in London this week and I personally welcomed being inside. The area is very busy, being so close to Covent Garden. Hope that helps.
