We'll be staying in an Air B&B in Chipping Campden in the Cotswold in the second half of May. Any suggestions for nice, not too fancy, places for dinner or afternoon tea (not high tea)? We'll have a car, so places reasonably nearby are fine.
Years ago we had a nice tea at the Cotswold House Hotel and Spa. We also had a nice dinner there too. The setting is on High Street and they also had beautiful gardens.
Leaf and Bean in Broadway for coffee
Snowshill Arms for food and ambience
The Corner Cupboard in Winchcombe
Tisane's in Broadway for tea.
Slaughter's Country Inn in Lower Slaughter for tea or lunch.
You didn’t ask about other food, but we had the best fish & chips at Russell’s Fish & Chips at Broadway - yum! We also ate at their fancier restaurant, Russell’s, near the other one for our 45th anniversary dinner.
