Budget Friendly place to stay near Victoria Station.

You will probably get more responses if you define "budget friendly" in terms of British pounds per night.

There are still budget hotels in London that are not air conditioned. That is risky if you're traveling in the summer.

coachcarter33, I think we need to have an amount you consider budget friendly. For some people that would mean $50 and others, $500. Pounds or dollars.

The Cherry Court Hotel is budget. Small, idiosyncratic with lovely owners on a quiet street.

The Premier Inn Victoria would be considered budget. This is a chain of hotels that are throughout the UK, but they are very good, very consistent and the price is very reasonable. They offer breakfast, although it is an extra cost if you use it. The Premier Inn Victoria is within walking distance of Victoria Station

I’ve stayed in a number of them and I’ve never had any problems. The earlier you book there, the cheaper the price will be, too.

My son and his fiance stayed last summer at the Premier Inn near Victoria Station last summer. I encouraged them to book early and as I recall it was less than $150.

They were happy with their stay.

For the last few years we have used the Great Western Victoria Station usually in the annex. Several nice pubs in the area and a couple of good breakfast places as well.

Right. OP what do you consider budget friendly, or more precisely what is your actual budget? Knowing helps provide you a greater variety of options. Also it helps you to consider prices and charges in local currency. A hotel website may display prices in dollars, but that is a courtesy and not the actual prices, as the charge would still be in local currency. If for example if your budget were something like $150, it helps all around if you expressed that as £110.
