I'm looking for recommendations for a great pie and mash place. I, however, want to avoid pies with any internal organs, lol.
Armaments has some good stuff.

Mike, our favorite London pub for steak pie and mash is St. Stephen's Tavern in Westminster right across from Big Ben and Parliament. It is very well located and is in an historic building. Inside is cozy and pretty and they have great staff. They serve an interesting mix of pub grub including steak pie (with no disgusting inner guts!) and good mashed potatoes. They also have sausages with mash and would you like some peas with that? You can get chicken pie too and fish and chips. My favorites are the Cornish pasties and the divine Scotch eggs which are huge and come with a tasty chutney. If you have a hankering for fried chicken or burgers, you can get that here too. You can't miss it- just look across from Big Ben and the Parliament and there it is. If you asked a local, he or she might well refer to it as "the Parliament pub" which is what most locals call it due to its location.
We had supper in St Stephens last year. Fish & Chips. Its a beautiful pub in a great location.
