My husband, I and 1.5 year old will be traveling to Cambridge in mid May. Looking for recommendations on where to stay for two nights either in Cambridge or in London near King's cross so it's an easy train ride.
Many of the bed and breakfasts I've looked at so far do not welcome children as young as ours.
B&Bs in Cambridge tend to be no cheaper than some hotels. Have a look at Premier Inns.
I agree with Lin. Premier Inns are very good and very clean and comfortable hotels that are very reasonably priced, and you can find them in any neighborhood in London and also in Cambridge. They have family rooms available and will provide a "travel cot" for babies (similar to a pack-and-play). Breakfast is available but is not included in the price, although it's usually pretty reasonable.

I would imagine that the Cambridge locations will be cheaper than the London locations, so you might want to check there first, but definitely compare prices. Also, keep in mind that the earlier you book at Premier Inn, the lower the price. They have a number of price options:
- One that is completely refundable, which will be the highest priced
- A hybrid where it's refundable up to 25 days ahead of time, but you pay up front
- The cheapest option, which is non-refundable and you pay up front

I've visited Cambridge several times . On my first visit , we stayed at the Premier Inn in Orchard Park by The A14 . Even though we had a car on that trip , parking in the city center was extremely difficult and we used the bus service from town to and from the hotel . Stress free and only about a fifteen minute ride . between the hotel and the Drummer Street Bus Station .
