B & B, Hotel, budget friendly, Notting Hill or Paddington Station area

Traveling 3 seniors would like your recommendation for this area. We have read a lot, but can't make up our minds. It's for Sept. 28 (Saturday) and 29th. We want to be close to the station so we can catch the train for Windsor on Sunday. If you have a hotel recommendation for Windsor, close to the palace, that would be great also. Thank you for your help. It's much appreciated.

Premier inn Paddington basin.

However, a hotel near a tube station that you can use to get to Paddington would also work well.

63 Bayswater

Have stayed there many times. Close to Paddington Station ( 10-15 minute walk) 63 is across the road from the Lancaster Gate entrance into Hyde Park, and 1/2 block from Lancaster Gate Tube Station.

Breakfast used to be included in the price. You’ll need to confirm if that’s still true. Things may have changed after Covid.

Has an elevator.

63 is not close to the Palace.

The easiest route to Windsor is by train from Waterloo Station. There’s a Premier Inn nearby.
You should consider booking there.

I will second the recommendation for Premier Inn Paddington Basin. I've stayed at many a Premier Inn, and they are consistently clean, comfortable, and with very reasonable prices. There are no surprises; just good service and very comfortable beds. The price does not include breakfast but they do offer both full and continental breakfasts for an additional (and generally reasonable) cost. And this particular one is only a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station,

Are you looking for 3 separate rooms? I know the Premier Inn has family rooms, but they have a policy of only 2 adults to a room (similar to many other hotels), so you would at least need two rooms.

ETA: Claudia, I checked and Hotel 63 does still include a free breakfast.

I can strongly recommend Mitre House Hotel on Sussex Gardens, a short walk from Paddington station. It's definitely budget friendly (and note rooms are small) but the staff are lovely and breakfast is included. We have stayed there many times over the past almost 20 years, and some of the staff have been there that whole time, and literally seen our kids grow up. A great option.
