Apartment rental in Victoria neighborhood

My 16 year old daughter and I will be spending a week in London in July. At first I was looking at hotels in the Victoria neighborhood because it is centrally located and within my budget range. But for a week stay an apartment might be less expensive and more comfortable. Any rental agencies that are reputable.

I have stayed in two apartment like hotels, we just used "Go Native Monument" (12/22) which we loved. Rented a studio which came with a full kitchen living room and bed all in one large room with huge bathroom. Also area is quite at night even thought there is a pub at end of street (note the street the hotel is on is not for cars so if you get off the Monument exit of the tube walk down Eastcheap to Lovat Lane and the hotel is a bottom of this walkway/lane) Also I have stayed at the Dolphin Square apartments (I got an excellent deal on a one bedroom through booking in combo with British Air) which is near the Pimlico tube station. Both are near food stores and since you are there for a week with a 16 year old (I've been there) you may want a one bedroom to escape and each have some relaxing free time with the British telly after all day touring and you can eat in a few nights to save money.

Wow! Thanks for the great info! I will look into both recommendations. Now I've gotten recharged about the trip.
