Hello Forum-
We are intrigued by Mons Klint and considering a visit we are staying in Copenhagen June 26- June 30 and would like to explore- a bit outside the city would you recommend renting a car and staying near the cliffs/exploring or are there other coastal areas you think are better- we are thinking of spending June 30 and July 1st out of the city returning July 2nd to Copenhagen and flying out July 3rd. Thank you!

Møns Klint is a good choice!
The area is worth to consider a rental car for exploring around Copenhagen. Driving is widely very easy, slow and peaceful. Penalties are high. EasyPark app can help paying public parking (mobile connection and active GPS needed) - no coins needed. Just stop parking process in app before driving off.
With a little detour you can exlore Gavnø castle, park, brewery and climbing park.
Roskilde Viking museum and boat sailing is worth a try.
