My daughter will be studying in Copenhagen August-December and I plan to visit her in late October for 2 nights in Copenhagen then whisk her away (cheap air flight) to another country/city for a 4-5 night holiday while she is on a study break. We've spent time in Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice) and Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Sienna) the past two summers, so would like to explore another part of Europe. She will have already visited Prague and Berlin as part of her program. Would be interested in an area with mild weather, good food, interesting urban culture as well as nearby beautiful countryside.
