Where else are you going?
You can look at all the schedules at https://int.bahn.de/en
Speaking of Bahn, depending on where you are going for the rest of your trip, Eurail might not be you best option. They are just a travel agent you know. It is still too early to get prices, you will have to wait until april to see them.

Thanks for reply. Hoping to see Berlin Wall museums, never visited Germany. One night. Then onto Munich, OctoberFest if possible. One night. Then to Switzerland….

seat61.com is a great site for all questions about how to take a train and get tickets. You can also email the owner of the website and he will answer your questions if you can't find them on the site.

Eurail is a train pass system. Often it is better to contact the companies actually running the trains. Seat 61 has plenty of advice about where and how to go, sometimes including bargain fair tipsl

Have you already purchased a Eurail pass?

If not, you may want to price out individual tickets to wherever you are going to see if that is the best ( most economical) choice for your travels

You probably want to rethink “one night”. If that’s how many nights you’re staying in each town, you won’t have time to see anything except train tracks..
How many nights is your trip? Where do you want to go and see? Give us a rough itinerary so you can know if it’s workable. Are you traveling solo or with someone?

Flying into Copenhagen, stay a night, then train to Berlin, tour by day, stay a night. Like to see Berlin Wall, checkpoint C, and museum. Train to Munich, see Oktoberfest, drink too much beer, stay a night. Still thinking it through

October 6 is the last day of Oktoberfest.
Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart goes until October 13 if you don't get enough beer at the 'Wiesen.

Look at existing train schedules. The concept of “best” here is misplaced…..pick the train(s) that meet your needs. Gather things like RS Guides, maybe Lonely Planet and read up a little to support your goals. I know one thing you won’t see is Oktoberfest in Munich (it’s the end of September) but there are plenty of beer halls……

Remember that some of your travel will be day long trips…..or overnight if you choose. (which opens a cacophony of opinions here!) Do a little more research and there’s someone that will respond with suggestions or alternatives.

Let me see if I have this right. You are going to leave Copenhagen for Berlin, do some sightseeing, spend the night and leave the next day.

Have you looked at train schedules? It's over seven hours minimum from Copenhagen to Berlin.

Why all these one nighters? You are going to spend more time traveling than actual sightseeing.

And Eurail is one of the worst websites unless you are buying a pass. And even then it doesn't show all of your options.

I think you need to do a lot more research before finalizing your itinerary. All of this "stay one night" business completely overlooks the amount of time you need to get from place to place ( hotel to hotel; not just city to city). As for your arrival day in Copenhagen- even if you arrive early in the morning, if you are coming off a long flight you will be jet lagged and brain fogged, so unlikely to appreciate much of what you might manage to cram in sight seeing that day. And it looks like these train trips could eat up half a day just getting there. Research what there is to see (that is of interest to you) in each place to get an idea of how many nights you need. I would suggest 2 nights minimum in each place.

As mentioned already, study the information on the Man in Seat 61 website. Get an idea of train times and prices on the Deutche Bahn website. (Too early for October prices, just look at trains few weeks from now.) The Eurail site is not a dependable listing of all options.

In Europe your way of travelling is not meaningful because every place has so many sights and places with real depth to see and experience. This is different to many destinations in the USA. By this "been there, done that, took a picture" you will fully miss the cultural side of travelling which is no real issue when travelling in the US. By moving only in the visual sights world you will be in a permanent bubble - placed in Europe but without feeling Europe.

If this is your way of travelling feel free to do so but imo for the amount of money you will not create any lasting memories.

Also on social media this way of travelling plays no role.
