Do we need to get tickets for the train from Copenhagen to Roskilde if we have the Copenhagen Card, or do we just hop on the train and show the card if asked?

You can just get on the train with your Copenhagen Card and show it if asked. The Viking Ship Museum is amazing with Viking helmets and weapons on display in addition to the ships. Be sure to walk from the museum through the park to Roskilde’s Cathedral where all the Kings of Denmark and Queen Margrethe 1 are interred.
If you haven’t had your fill of Viking history at Roskilde, the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen has the largest Viking ships ever found on display, along with other Viking artifacts.
