I will be in Copenhagen for 4 days at the end of May and wondering if the hotel I've booked is good and in a safe location. (Woman traveling alone). I've booked the Hotel Tiffany at Colbjornsensgade 28. I was selecting for a single room with elevator access and a fridge.
I haven’t stayed at that hotel but I know the neighborhood… you’re by Tivoli and the train station… and it is SAFE. Copenhagen is very safe in general, even for “a woman traveling alone.” I’ve been out at all hours and never had even the slightest trouble.
Of course even in Copenhagen it’s not a good idea to do things like get smashed and stumble home from a bar in a daze (obviously not saying you would - just an example) but if you keep your wits about you and pay attention, you shouldn’t have any worries at all. It’s a wonderful city.
