Overnight Ferry to Oslo

Two concerns
DFDS apparently bought out by another company (last fall) but I was able/allowed to book my ferry on DFDS. The DFDS app shows my booking as does my email. I have a question about this in to the new company and am waiting to hear. Has anyone done this recently without problem (fingers crossed)?
The shuttle bus to the ferry (assuming my tickets are valid) from Norreport was included in my purchase. Does the shuttle run several times? It doesn’t seemed to be a timed bus ticket unlike the ferry.
Thanks in advance

DFDS still exists, but the Oslo-Copenhagen route (including the ships) have been sold and is now operated by Gotlandsbolaget. However, DFDS still handles the booking and ticket sales for now.

According to their website the bus to the ferry departs Nørreport 15.55.

Thank you for the information and that site (and Google translate). Does it seem a bit tight to catch the bus at 15:55 and the ferry leaves at 16:30?

Following. I did not book the shuttle with my tickets but wondering if I should have. That does seem like a tight arrival, but clearly they’re not going to leave without you if it’s their shuttle.

No. I have never taken the bus myself but I assume that the ferry company knows how much time is needed to board the ferry and sets the bus schedule accordingly. It doesn't take hours to board a ferry.

This is from a question to customer service regarding my question to the forum. They were reassuring but I still see myself running to get to the gate by 1615. Has anyone done this? On the Norway with Pal video of the ferry trip it seems like a long walk to the dock.

Hi Judy,
Thank you for reaching out!

The bus has two stops
Copenhagen Central Station - Departs at 15.40
Nørreport Station - Departs at 15.55

Our shuttlebus departure times are arranged so that guest coming from Oslo wanting to see Copenhagen, have as much time as possible to do so. Hence why the shuttlebusses arrive close to the ferry departure time. You will have enough time to get to the ferry from Nørreport and board.

Have a great day!

Best regards/ Med venlig hilsen

Amanda

The way I would, and have got there, is train to Osterport Station. From there I have both walked (around 15 minutes from memory) or caught regular city bus line #27 down.
It runs every 20 minutes for eighteen hours a day.
