Page 92 of Rick's Scandinavia book suggests S-Tog to the Sorgenfri stop, then walk 10 minutes to the address Kongevejen 100 in Lyngby. The museum's own web site also mentions bus options and you can see the bus stops on Google Maps: https://en.natmus.dk/museums-and-palaces/frilandsmuseet/practical-information/.
