We will need to walk at night, around 10 pm, from the Nordhavn station to our cruise ship, which is supposed to dock at Frihavn. From Google photos, this looks to be an industrial area. Is it safe at to be walking around at night? (We are senior citizens, and my husband uses a wheelchair.)
Bumping up this topic in case some with a recent experience sees it. If we can assume that other members of your cruise will be returning about the same time, then that would be enough for me to feel secure. Rick's Northern Cruise Ports book doesn't use any loaded terminology to describe the walk (no seedy, bleak, etc.).
It's an industrial area and from my limited experience there, it's mostly deserted in the evenings and generally safe, as is most of Copenhagen. It's unlikely that you will meet other people than other cruise passengers. when are you going? Keep in mind that the days are long in Denmark during the summer, so it might not even be dark at 10 pm.
Thank you!!
