Hi. We will be in Copenhagen with our 20 something kids and their significant others on New Year’s Eve and Day. I was thinking about Tivoli for dinner and fireworks for New Year’s Eve, but would love suggestions for what to do on New Year’s Day. Is the Zoo worth visiting? Or Frederiksborg? Is anything else open? Would also love suggestions for New Year’s Eve if you think Tivoli is a bad idea. Thanks.
Tivoli is closed on January 1st: https://www.tivoli.dk/en/praktisk/aabningstider. Note: The fireworks is clearly visible from the Town Hall square - you don't need to pay entrance fee for Tivoli, if you only want it for the fireworks.
Any Zoo is always worth visiting :-)
Thank you. I was confusing Tivoli with Skansen in Stockholm. (I know they are completely different, but both are outdoors...).
