Thinking of flying into Denmark in two weeks and looking for an adventure (1 week escape). Prob involving a train to a remote location.... Maybe chasing the lights?
A few years ago I flew to Denmark , 2 nights in the city, overnight train to northern Sweden and spent a few wonderful days chasing the lights, then train back, another two nights in the city and home in a week.
I'd do that again (and recommend it to anyone) but prob something different - maybe an overnight train into Norway this time or Finland (both places I've not been).
Any recommended adventures for a traveling photographer looking for an adventure?

For the northern lights, Denmark is too far south. Finland and Norway are both options, as well as Sweden. It sort of depends on what you are looking for. What are your interests and what time of the year are you planning this trip?

as mentioned did this a couple years ago taking the train from denmark to northern sweden for an amazing journey. Looking to do something similar but to a different place.
Copenhagen seems a cheap and reasonable place to fly into and start. Where to go for the next week - that's the adventure I'm looking for in terms of advice.
If had a couple weeks I'd really try to find some intense travel but for only one week I realize there are some limitations.
