money exchange

We are flying into Copenhagen and will be there for 24 hours prior to getting on a cruise ship.
Should we go to ATM for some Danish krone or use euros for short visit.?

You should be able to use your credit card to pay for everything. When I visited Copenhagen in 2018, I did not use any cash.

I flew into Copenhagen in 2019 and there was someone exchanging money. It was a group or person. at a table. They were very friendly and helpful and gave a good rate. it was perfectly valid.

I was there five days and only used currency to do laundry in a hostel, where the machines were set up to use coins only. My conclusion is that you should be fine with just a credit card. Cards were accepted even for the 1 euro purchase.

Credit card will be sufficient. I have not used any kroner in multiple visits to Denmark in the past five or so years.

In Denmark, we use Danish kroner. Euros won't get you very far - and if you find somewhere that accept euros, you can be certain they will do so at a rate that is quite unfavorable to you.

I live here. Haven't used cash in many years. Card is the normal thing to use for any purchase in Denmark. So you will be perfectly fine with your credit card (Visa and MasterCard are universally accepted here).
