luggage storage @Helsingor train station?

We would like to store luggage for several hours while visiting Kronborg castle and the maritime museum next door. I read that lockers were added at the Helsingor train station sometime in 2019. Does anyone know if those lockers are large enough to store luggage? I'm having a little trouble finding that kind of detail online. Or does anyone have another suggestion where to store luggage in Helsingor?

BTW we both have the Rick Steves rolling carryon, which is 21" x 14" x 9" (including wheels), and fits in most airline overheads, to give some idea of luggage size. We're planning to stop in Helsingor for several hours on our way to Copenhagen. We will just have dropped off a rental car in Helsingborg Sweden the night before.

According to the castle’s website....

Bags and other luggage larger than 35 x 15 x 30 cm must be left in the cloakroom.

If your luggage is bigger than this, you may be able to store it in the cloakroom. I would probably email them and ask to be certain.

Thanks for your reply! I saw that information, and also read others that said the 15 minute walk from the train station to the castle with their rolling luggage in tow was torturous due to the cobblestones. Was hoping to store the luggage at the train station if that's possible.

Found this on TripAdvisor. Apparently there is now luggage storage available.

For anyone else wondering: there is now, as of 2019, luggage storage available. Look for 7-11, and you’ll find plenty lockers where you’re able to store your luggage :-)

The purpose of most train station lockers is to accommodate regular luggage (not just small day packs).

Thanks for the reminder about the locker size and the help, everyone! We have traveled by train in Europe but don't have experience storing our luggage in train stations. Our schedule is a little tight that day so just wanting to work out the logistics.
