We are planning to attend a night Opera performance on the same day we arrive to Copenhagen from the USA. It will be a long day - but we are very excited for opportunity! We expect to be pretty tired at the end of the day and would like to catch a taxi to get to our place (Islands Brygge) after the performance. Is it easy to catch a taxi at night around Operaen? Are there other convenient options to get to Islands Brygge by Public Transportation? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Just looking, take the 2A bus from the island next to the Opera House to the M1 Metro station at Torvegade, then take the M1 Metro southbound one stop to Islands Brygge. 13 minute journey time. This is for 10:30 pm on a week night. Input your specific time and date for your needs.

Thank you for your reply! Looks like public transportation might me a little too much for us considering that it will be a very long day after transatlantic flight. Is it possible to catch a taxi right around opera house or we will have take water taxi shuttle to Nyhavn to catch taxi there?
