Hi, we are flying to Copenhagen and return from Bergen. Travel is for 7 nights. Any recommendations for which cities to visit and for how long? Best site seeing in each city? We love nature. TIA
That sounds like an extremely rushed trip. I hope you are fine with that pace.
But for 7 nights my suggestion is the overnight ferry to Oslo and then train to Bergen.
Thanks for the reply. Would you skip Stockholm in this trip because of short trip? Would you suggest ferry or train to Oslo? How many days in each stop? Tnx
Because it is such a short trip, you don't really have time to add Stockholm. Doing so would mean 2 nights in each city, you'll mostly only see trains and railway stations. But you can add a night in Gothenburg between Copenhagen and Oslo if you want a taste of Sweden. If so my suggestion would be 2 nights in Copenhagen, 1 night in Gothenburg, 2 nights in Oslo, one night between Oslo and Bergen, and finally one night in Bergen.
I have easily spent 7 days in Copenhagen alone with day trips.
Best to define your interests in each possible destination and go from there. I like to travel “in depth”; it sounds like you more enjoy a quick stop at many sites. Ultimately, you are the best planner for your trip. Posters will be happy to help with details, but I wouldn’t trust someone else to define the “best sight-seeing” - many different interests, ideas, and definitions of that!
That said, Bergen may have the easiest accessibility to “nature” with the cable car up the mountain for hiking and day fjord tours. We spent 3 nights and easily fille 3.5 days with activities last summer.

Saeed, it seems you are not fully aware of the area size and distances. I recommend to approximately measure distances in Google Maps.
I agree to Badger's proposal.
Other option possible for more nature experience if money plays absolutely no role and you want to self-drive a certain amount of miles. Would be similar to this proposal (look into thread, not initial post). But also another one is possible.
If you come from an area / city with high AQI (air quality index) be prepared to experience the fresh-air-hammer; at the end of the first 1-2 days a lot of people get tired very early by the amount of fresh (non-polluted) and windy air.
Thank you everyone!
You should stay a minimum of 2 nights per city, to let you sample
it before packing bags again, and 2 countries per week is a maximum.
Go straight for Norway (skipping Sweden) on the overnight ferry, which
sounds exciting and worth-wile, and which I have read good things about in the forum.
