We are going to Copenhagen to start a cruise in September of 2024. If we leave 3 days early they are requiring us to stay at the above Scandic location. Is it a good location? We had planned to stay in the Nyhavn area. How far is it to the Nyhavn area from this location? Is there good subway/ train connections to the Nyhavn area? Thanks for your help in advance.

Who are they and why do they care where you are staying?
Is it a good location?
Not a horrible location, a short walk from the central station and an even shorter walk to Vesterport.

To get the 2 for 1 cruise air fare and want to go to the departure city early you can go 2 days before the cruise departs and stay anywhere you want to on your own. If they fly you in 3 days or more early they require that you book the hotel through the cruise line and this is the hotel that they are requiring that we stay in.

I haven't stayed there myself (because I live close by), but I have had colleagues from other countries visiting and staying there. They seemed satisfied.
Use Google maps to find the distance to places and https://www.rejseplanen.dk/webapp/?language=en_EN (or the phone app) to find subway/bus connections.
