Hotel before Cruise

Copenhagen isn’t large so choose a hotel you like. I remember being told that the Marriott catered to cruise ship passengers. Next time we will stay in Nyhaven. Last time we were in the Radisson near Tivoli Gardens and didn’t care for that area as much.

We stayed at the Clarion Mayfair also near Trivoli Garden. It was a nice enough hotel, served breakfast and dinner free. It was across the street from a night club which was pretty noisy on the weekend. I wouldn't not recommend it, but if I were going back I would look for a better location.

Before you book a hotel be sure you know which part of the port is relevant for you. Get the address and use Google maps to get an idea of where the hotels are. If you are going on cruise before or after it is probably Ocean Kaj, which is not really close to anything.
