My family and I will be in Copenhagen this summer and I'm considering an airbnb rental for a 5-6 night stay. Was wondering if people had personal experience staying in the Frederiksberg neighborhood? It looks to be convenient to the metro with grocery stories, cafes, etc. We'll be using it as a homebase and taking a couple of day trips -- no car, all public transportation.

We stayed for a week in an apartment in the Nordhavn area in September 2022. We were only a couple of minutes from a metro, grocery stores and cafes. We stayed in STAY Seaport apartments. It was a very convenient base for exploring Copenhagen and taking day trips - all by public transportation.
Frederiksberg is a great area and very convenient to public transport - 3 different metro lines that can take you to trains if you are planing to travel a little out of the city. Would strongly recommend visiting Lousiana Modern Art museum... even if you are not big art fan. The museum park setting overlooks the sound giving you a beautiful view of Sweden. The train ride up is nice too.
