Early departure from Copenhagen (7:00 AM)

Hi, I am leaving Copenhagen on 7 AM flight. I will be staying in Amager West very close to a Metro stop.
Is it safe to catch the Metro very early in the morning? Any one else had to catch one of these really early flights and taken the Metro? Should I Metro to Train?
Thanks.

Hi,

Back on Saturday, September 21st of this year, I left Copenhagen on an 8AM flight. Took the Metro from the Main Station (Kobenhavn) to Kongen's Nytorv station at about 5:30 where I hopped on a yellow line/M2 train to the airport. There were numerous people in both stations and traveling was a piece of cake. I can't imagine it's too much different an hour earlier. I suspect if you're alert and use common sense, you shouldn't have any problems. But if its really an issue for you, call an Uber or a taxi
Best of luck

Yes-it’s safe to catch the Metro for the train station early in the morning. About the most concerning part of it is—if you haven’t had time for coffee before leaving for the airport.

Thank you, everyone who replied. I'll be sure to try to get the coffee before the flight.

We stayed in the old town with 2 small kids and had a 06:55 flight out. I felt safe walking in the dark to Kongen's Nytorv at 04:15. Once inside the metro, there were many people at that time. Copenhagen felt extremely safe the entire time we were there, which is in contrast to some other major European cities lately.
