DFDS Ferry Terminal to Nørreport Station Copenhagen

We arrive in Copenhagen on the over-night ferry from Oslo. What is the best transportation mode to get from the DFDS Ferry Terminal to the S-Train Nørreport Station? It appears on a map that the Orange, Green, Purple and Blue lines connect stations near the DFDS Terminal (Nordhavn or Østerport) with the Nørreport Station, but I can’t get a feel if either of these stations is within walking distance (with wheeled luggage) from the DFDS Terminal. I’ve also read DFDS provides a bus to Kongens Nytorv, but this may be taking a round-about way to go 2 stops on the S-Train. Any help would be appreciated

I think the DFDS bus to Kongens Nytorv and then the Metro to Nørreport Station is your best choice.

I have walked to Nordhavn Station without problem, but not with wheeled luggage - only backpack.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know.

We had a Copenhagen card, so all transportation was free. To get to the cruise port and back we took the train, between the port and Nordhavn, and the metro, between Nordhavn and Kongens Nytorv. I think it was two stops on the train and one stop on the metro (but I may not recall correctly), it wasn't far. The long walk to the ship, once inside the port, was the hardest part.
