Hello. I will be in Copenhagen for two nights. Arriving 7 Sept., one adult. Any ideas? I'd prefer not to stay in a hostel, wanting to be aground 100 euros a night. The area I don't care as long as it's safe abs has transport to the city center. Thank you
Hotel Nebo
Half a block from the central train station.
Except it looks fully booked.
I just tried to see if you could get into my favorite hotel in Copenhagen.. Hotel Alexandra.. looks like the 8th-11th is fully booked. Super great location and great danish furnishings. Sorry.
Trivago is showing the Hotel Maritime at $144/night. It has 3.5 stars out of 5 on Trip Advisor. It's in a good location. I've never stayed there and cannot vouch for it. That's probably as good as you are going to do. Includes breakfast.
Expedia.com has rooms at Generator Copenhagen hotel for a reduced price of $116. Normal price lists $357.
Generator, though in a great location, is a hostel, which the OP said she wanted to avoid.
They have private rooms also.
Thanks. I'm currently booked at the Generator Hostel but would prefer not to go that route. Yes, there are single rooms for over $1,000 for two nights. Crazy!! If I were to go further out of Copenhagen, which I have no problem with, that area would I like? Thanks again
Check out VRBO or Airbnb...I'm staying in Copenhagen for a week in early September and am paying about $114 per night for a small yet very cute apartment in Indre By. If you don't mind catering for yourself there are quite a few great places in the city to choose from.
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Jørgensen two years ago. Not fancy, and since was at street-level a bit noisy in the early evening, but quite ample, clean and super convenient viz. transportation.
