Denmark

We are planning a holiday to Denmark this May and will be staying in the following locations from where we will be doing various day trips.
1)Copenhagen
2)Aarhus
3)Ribe
4)Aeroskobing.
Please suggest what will be the best sequence of our travel that will save us the travel time.
Also, from which place will it be more convenient to travel to Aeroskobing.

Copenhagen is our place of arrival and departure.

Will you be renting a car? If not use Rejseplanen to plan your travel.

I think you should start in Aarhus - and if you arrive in Copenhagen by plane, it might be easiest if you just take another plane to Aarhus or you can take a direct train from the airport to Aarhus Central Station (called "Aarhus H" in Rejseplanen). While in Aarhus a car will be more problem than benefit.

Then go to Ribe and from there to Aeroskobing (Note: It is called Ærøskøbing in Rejseplanen). Then on to Copenhagen Central Station (called "København H" in Rejseplanen). While in Copenhagen a car will be more problem than benefit.

The reason for doing it in this direction is just that I prefer to be in my departure city some days before departure to mitigate the risk of delays. YMMV.

I.Ps suggestion makes sense and be sure to use the link to Rejseplanen he posted.
Ærøskøbing is a bit of an outlier. You will have to change trains in Odense to get to Svendborg where you catch the ferry. All trains going between Copenhagen and the Jutland peninsula stop in Odense, så you can do Ærø either before or after Copenhagen.
How many days do you have for this trip?

I've always fancied visiting Denmark but everything seems to cost an arm and a lego.
