What is the best way to go from the airport to a hotel near Nyhavn and later from there to the Oceankaj Cruise port? People in their 70s with luggage that need to avoid public transit.
Thanks

If you dont want to take public transportation, then your alternative is a taxi.
No shuttle services?

If you watch this video, you can see that there are escalators/elevators so handling luggage should not be an issue. I would take the Metro choice.
If you have too much luggage for public transport, then I think taxi is your best bet. You can read more about it here: https://www.cph.dk/en/parking-transport/bus-train-metro-taxi/taxi
I just flew in and out of Copenhagen in May. The metro to and from the airport can be crowded. You might have to stand next to your suitcase if there are no seats available. And then you still have to walk from the metro stop to your hotel. So, make it easy on yourself and take a taxi.
If you're worried about luggage on the Metro, I get it. Your better public transit option, then, is the Oresundstag train. These have luggage racks at the end of each compartment so you just have to get your bags up the two stairs of the train. and drop them in the luggage rack. Same price as metro. But once you get to Copenhagen H, Osterport or Norreport, you'll have to cab to your hotel if you don't want to take metro.
