We will be in Copenhagen Sept 5-8th next week. (Baltics Cruise leaves on the 8th 2 weeks). Red Badge Guides are only Friday and Saturday at this time of year. You can hire them as a private guide (fixed price all Qualified Danish Tourist Guides) for 1825 DKK (E245) cash only, 2 1/2- 3hours. They will meet at our hotel in city center. Richard Karpen (H C Andersen character) does regularly scheduled group walking tours at 9:30 am 90 minutes for US $20. Huge price differential. Any advice from those who have been?
I don't have comments about either of those guide services, but will suggest a Bike Mike tour. It was a fun way to see the city like a local and Mike is quite entertaining. There are tours available on some of your dates: https://bikecopenhagenwithmike.dk/
Hi
Hope you loved your cruise. We just cancelled a Viking Baltic Cruise in June so we could focus on a 9-day fjord/train tour in Norway. But we are still going to visit Copenhagen (no time for Stockholm, Helsinki, and Tallin alas)
Did you use one of these guides and what did you think? What were the highlights from your visit? Places, restaurants, tours... We will be there 4 days in June. Thanks
