Copenhagen to Frankfurt to Paris

My husband and I will be cruising Scandinavia/Russia from June 14-25. We plan to travel to Frankfurt on the 25th and stay there till the 28th and then head to Paris. We will fly back to the US early morning of July 2nd. Please advise us the best way to travel from Copenhagen to Frankfurt to Paris.
I saw a flight from Copenhagen to Frankfurt but I can't understand the amount of 38,369. How much is this in US$?
Thank you!

Hi mgp,

I recommend using www.skyscanner.com for flight options. You can set the currency to U.S. dollars in the upper right corner. When you do search, be aware that Frankfurt has two airports - Frankfurt am Main (FRA - close to the city center) and Frankfurt Hahn (HHN, which is rather a misnomer, as it's 1.5 hours west).

On 6/25 skyscanner shows flights starting at $180 per person from Copenhagen to Frankfurt am Main. Is there a particular reason you want to stay in Frankfurt ? With a few days, I'd stay in the Rhine area rather than Frankfurt. Rick's favorite towns are Bacharach or St. Goar, both of which are easily accessible by train from the Frankfurt airport (1-1.5 hours, some direct trains, most involve a change in Mainz or downtown Frankfurt). See http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en for trains schedules and routes.

You could spend a few days in Bacharach or St. Goar, then head back to Frankfurt for a day if you want to see the city, and take a direct train to Paris (about 4 hours direct). There's not need to buy the local trains ahead between Frankfurt and the Rhine area, but I would buy the Frankfurt-Paris train ahead, especially if you want to save some money. A full-fare ticket from Frankfurt to Paris is 128 euros (about $146). You can buy an advance-purchase "savings fare" for 59 euros ($67). See the above website for scehdules and to buy tickets.
