In Rick's Scandanavia he shows two ways of getting from Copenhagen to Svendborg. One is to switch trains at Odense. He also shows a bus from Nyborg to Svendborg. Does anyone know which route is cheaper? Faster?

Use http://www.rejseplanen.dk/ as your travel planner for all public transport in Denmark. A quick search showed me that they take the same mount of time, and since both routes are with public transport, the ticket is the same price regardless of which mode of transport you choose for the route. Which one is best depends on the timing of your connections.
