We'll be visiting the Tivoli Gardens in late June. Is it worth eating dinner at one of the restaurants inside the park? A Scandinavian friend says there's a unique atmosphere there that makes it a worthwhile experience. I'm not so sure because it wouldn't be quite dark enough (for lights and fireworks) as we usually eat early. (Also, I'm not usually keen on eating at tourist spots.) Any particular restaurant to suggest? I'd like to make a reservation if I can. My family group includes two seniors and two children (5 and 13). Thanks!
You can see a list on https://www.tivoligardens.com/en/mad+og+drikke/spisesteder.
I was there last week just to experience it. I wished I had waited to eat inside the park. There are many cafes and nice spots to eat - even some on boats! It's a great atmosphere.
We had a nice meal st historic Groften. Of course, be aware that you have to pay the regular park admission even if you are only dining there.
