A little unusual question, but important to us. We are looking for a good hotel in central Copenhagen with an enclosed shower, by which I mean one that has a door that closes and a little step up so the water doesn't get all over the floor of the bathroom. So many of these hotels seem to think guests want to spend time every night mopping the floor. Not to mention it's unsafe. Any suggestions?
I think that most hotel websites have pictures of the rooms and include pictures of the
bathrooms. If this is your primary consideration, ok, but I suspect you want to get a
location/price range to narrow down the options and then perhaps the websites can
confirm this question.
We stayed at the Phoenix Copenhagen hotel near Nyhavn last year. Our room had a walk in shower. Look at the photos and descriptions on tripadvisor.com or booking.com to make sure that the room you choose has a walk in shower. This is a great hotel and we really enjoyed it. Not sure what price range you were hoping for.
There are lots of hotel-room photos on booking.com. They are supplied by the hotels. But room configuration can vary a lot within a hotel, so I'd suggest following up with an email to your top-choice hotel. << Typos corrected.
The Phoenix Hotel has rooms with a tub/shower which are nice. They do have rooms with an open shower which are quite small.
