Planning a last minute trip to Copenhagen at the end of October, any thoughts if it will be too cold/Rainy?
Yes, it could well be rainy at the end of October, and the sun sets earlier (4:40PM standard time), than places further south. It's unlikely to be cold, maybe down to freezing at night. Colder temps tend to come in January. If you dress for the weather, waterproof coat, hat, gloves, scarves & good walking shoes, I think you'd be fine, but it is a very personal decision. I fly to Copenhagen to escape the cold further north and sometimes am blissfully happy with a later sunset and warmer temps! (Life is really relative.) Personally, I would still go. There are a lot of fabulous museums, great food and excellent public transportation.
Thanks for the information and your perspective!
There are any number of google sites to check historical weather for the time you will be in any location. 0
We visited the last two weeks of October when our son was living there. That year, it was lovely. I don't remember any rain, but it was windy a few of the days, but not cold. Just enough for a hat at times, but I never needed gloves or anything more than my lightweight rain jacket. We had some nice sunny days as well. Of course, there are no guarantees on weather, but I would not hesitate to go again at that time of year.
