I'll be traveling to Denmark this summer and will have some independent time in Copenhagen. I am traveling as tourist, so the city center and locations of attractions and public transportation is most important. Can anyone recommend a street map.

You will not need one...small city center very walkable...your hotel will have a basic map...or print one out, use your phone when there...

I got a detailed city map last summer at a tourist office just a few of blocks away from Tivoli Gardens. Ask around for specific directions once you're there.

I got a great laminated map of Copenhagen and related areas on Amazon for under $10. I'm using it for planning and imagine it also will be very useful on the ground. It is Borch 1:11 000.

I was in Copenhagen a few weeks ago and used two apps: CityMaps2Go by Ulmon and CityMapper. I used CityMapper more for my trip to Stockholm when I used public transportation, but both can be used without WiFi and are free. Just download the map of Copenhagen before you leave and use it everywhere!
