Copenhagen area stay recommendation

We fly to Copenhagen for 3 days prior to taking cruise out of terminal in Koberhavn. Expecting to use public transit Metro service, what is best location for transit from airport as well as to cruise terminal a common stop along the way which also has easy access to central Copenhagen? We are in our early 70's, young in spirit and want to make it as easy as possible on our physical limitations. Also, if there is an Air BnB recommendation. Thank you.

1) Use Rejseplanen for planning public transport.

2) Buy a Rejsekort in the airport

3) Anywhere near a Metro station or an S-train station would make it easy to get to the central Copenhagen and to the station nearest your Cruise terminal, but you need to find out where that is. Not all lines depart from the same place.

the area around Kongens Nytorv or Nørreport station should fit the bill for you, though Copenhagen is pretty well covered by public transport. Just use the link posted above.

copenhagen is very compact. we stayed at this airbnb recently which was very central, and it was a 6 minute walk to norreport station (which is about 15 minutes from the airport via the metro and about 20 minutes by taxi). friends stayed at the nimb hotel, just across the street from central station, which is also about 15 minutes from the airport by train.

between the area around norreport and the area around the central train station (they are only about 1 km apart and it's a nice walk through the shopping district), i would go for norreport. but, unlike some train station neighborhoods in european cities, the area around central station does not feel weird or unsafe in any way, just less charming in my opinion.

when we were looking at places to stay, it seemed like no matter where you picked in the center, you'd be in a good place so long as you were ok walking 5-10 minutes.

here's the list of places we made: https://goo.gl/maps/N2fFbChYF4t

it's a bit child-centric but you can get a sense of where most of the big attractions are in relation to where you might want to stay.
