Copenhagen-area castles for those who cannot easily do stairs

I read Jim's post copied below, and have a related question. I did not want to take over that thread, so I'm posting new. For people with limited mobility (e.g., cannot do more than a few stairs), which Danish castle, if any, would you recommend? We'll be visiting Copenhagen (also for 3-4 days) next June, and our 79 yr old mom cannot do stairs very well and has limited stamina when walking. We are planning to rent her a mobility scooter for this trip to make it easier for her to keep up with us. Thanks for your feedback. Kathy

We will have 3-4 full days in Copenhagen staying near the main train station. We would like to visit several of the following: Kronborg, Rosenborg, Frederviksborg and the Christiansborg and Amalienborg Palaces. Which ones would you consider the “must see” ones and the easiest to get to (we may be using the Copenhagen Card)? Thanks in advance, Jim S., Chicago

I would suggest perusing the castle websites closely, or, reaching out directly to the
staff via email with your query.

While the standard tour/route will pretty much involve stairs, there may be an elevator
or such in the back which you don't see as part of the standard tour route which can
be used for situations such as your mom's.

Also, a lot of the paths on castle grounds are crushed gravel. Not sure how well a scooter
will work on that material.
