Does anyone know of a hotel at (or very close) to the airport that does a day rate? We are landing at 6am and departing again at 4pm - so want a hotel room for the few hours in between. Thanks

There are hotels but you will have to book them differently.
What you will need to do is book the room for the night prior to your arrival. You alert the hotel that you will be arriving at 6 AM rather than the previous night so your room will be ready for you when you arrive. You then request a late checkout of around 1 pm. You must let the hotel know of your plans or they will put you down as a "no show."
There is a Clarion Hotel and a Comfort Hotel next to each other and across from the terminal building.
