Please give us ideas where in Denmark to spend a cozy Christmas in 2021. A lovely small town with Christmas traditions would be ideal.
Accommodations with Danish Christmas meals should be included. Any other ideas for Danish Christmas holiday?
Traditional Danish Christmas Eve is a big Family Dinner at home followed by opening presents. Christmas itself is going to Church or Family Meals. Before then there is a Decorated Tivoli and many Xmas Markets, etc. Shopping Malls are also closed from Dec 24-26.
I would check resort hotels which may have Xmas packages that include meals. Accommodations may be spendy during the Holidays.
It would be helpful if you could tell us a bit more about what you are looking for. Small lovely towns are likely to feel a bit deserted on Christmas eve as it is celebrated at home. Christmas day will probably be the same, and it can be hard to find hotels or restaurants open over Christmas. So that might be an argument for focusing on the larger cities.
