We are traveling in June to Copenhagen. I read in RS book that a tour is available lead by residents.
However, I do not see anything on trip advisor.
Does anyone know if this tour will be available? We read to just show up at 15:00 at the Rundviser. Do you recommend this tour or can you suggest another?
I recommend asking the Copenhagen tourist information.
I haven't been, but this is what the Visit Copenhagen website says (note tours don't start until June 26): https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/planning/christiania-gdk957761
A quick Google search resulted in this website for Christiana tour guides, it may have contact info for further info https://www.rundvisergruppen.dk/indexENG.htm
Thank you for the info

Only weekends in June.
I hope you enjoy Christiania. We couldn't leave the place quickly enough. Reminded us most of the tent cities one sees under urban freeway overpasses in the US.
I agree with jphbucks’ post: I wandered through Christiania but didn’t really see anything all that interesting.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go out of their way to see it.
If you go, allow yourself plenty of time to find the correct entrance as there is more than one entrance. We went to the wrong one for the tour start and missed the tour. We then walked around for about 10 - 15 minutes and like jphbucks and SJ had enough. Maybe it is better when you take the tour and get more info/stories? But yes, reminded me of a slum/tent city as well.
I can't agree more with those suggesting Christiania is mis-able. Rick's Hippie longings are showing in his recommendations. The world has moved on.
