My husband and I will be in Denmark for a week in May. We will be traveling from Copenhagen to a remote area in Southern Denmark to visit the gravesite of a family member. As a result, we'll need to rent a car. We are staying at the Isbens Hotel in Copenhagen near the Norreport Station. Where would be the easiest place to rent from?

Where are you going? It might be a better idea to take the train to e.g. Odense or Esbjerg and rent the car there.

We are going to a small town called Næsby in Southern Zealand and then driving to Odense from there.

Næsby between Ringsted and Slagelse? Then I'd suggest renting a car in Ringsted. And returning it there as well and take the train to Odense.
